The “Ultrafast Processes in Materials” activity intends to cover, from both a THEORETICAL and EXPERIMENTAL point of view, a wide area of the physics of matter and materials science. Through the interpretation of transient phenomena induced by weak or strong electromagnetic fields it is possible to optimize and find innovative solutions for the preparation of nanostructured inorganic, organic and hybrid systems for potential applications in the field of sensors, magnetic devices, optoelectronics and flexible electronics.
